Astilbe

These hardy, herbaceous perennials are cultivated  for their large, handsome, often fern-like foliage, and dense, feathery plumes of flowers. Astilbes are widely recognized for their profuse blooms in full shade. Some species are commonly known as False Goat's Beard.
