Happy Holidays!

Lens - EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
Shutter Speed - 30 Seconds
F-Stop - F/20
Exposure Program - Bulb Mode
Focal Length - 28 mm

Today, luckily the temperatures were warm enough so much so that no need to wear the jacket or gloves. May be Christmas bonus!!.

I tried taking the just the christmas lights and was not happy with outcome as I felt the shots I took were kind of bland without any subject or drama.

Then, I crossed the road so that I can take  vehicle trailing lights as my foreground to the background Christmas lights. I used a shutter speed of 30 seconds but I still feel the vehicle trailing lights are still crooked and not straight as I want.

Please feel free to comments/suggestions to improve.

Caught

I saw this leave caught in the fence. Sometimes, I feel we are also caught in our defined boundaries....

Leaves

I saw these leaves after rain and luckily a yellow cab was in the back ground. The yellow bright spot behind the leave is the parking light of the cab.

North East West South

Here are the views of the New York city from different sides from my office. I shot this from my office building which is of 60 + floors. My cubicle is on 56th floor and luckily we have different conference halls on all sides.

Here is the North view where you can see World Trade Center (Freedom Tower) and Amex buildings. The dark alley is Wall Street.

This is the South View, the tiny island is Ellis Island where Statue of Liberty is erected/

This is South side where Brooklyn can be seen along with East river
This is the East View where the view is almost blocked by another high rise building and also Brooklyn Bridge can be seen if you observer close enough.
